Jamaican Spice is a family owned and operated buisness based out of southeast Michigan. We have a mobile food truck as well as a full catering service. We feature home-style cooking with authentic Jamaican flavors including dishes such as jerk chicken, rice and peas, plantains, and curry vegetable stew.
Jamaican Spice is available for all of your catering needs including graduation parties, wedding rehersals, work events, music festivals, etc. From small gatherings to large parties, individual servings to group trays we are sure to come up with a menu you will love that fits your budget.
Our food truck can be found around the streets and neighborhoods in Ann Arbor, Ypsilanti area. It has also been featured in several summer festivals across Michigan. We are currently in search of a more permanent location. Stay tuned!

Valancio Bailey, owner and chef, was born and raised in Jamaica. From age 12, after school each day, he would cook dinner for his family which translated into a passion and love of cooking for all people. He arrived in Michigan in July 2015, and is excited to bring his own dishes to your table.
